ABOUT OUR 16 SODI RT8 KARTS

The SODi RT8 is the highest spec leisure go kart featuring integral streamlined bodywork giving the driver enhanced ‘on-track’ sensations while wheel to wheel racing , whilst maintaining high levels of safety on board.

The ultra-modern and exceptional design has been associated to all the best and latest SODIKART technologies in order to make the RT8 an unrivaled kart to get on the track and race.

38 years of experience from the SODi R&D department have been concentrated in the RT8 to make it extremely capable on fast outdoor tracks in Cape Town, South Africa.

The RT8 kart is equipped with the latest safety features to achieve a level of safety never seen before, and all of our ANGRi Racing fleet of sixteen RT8 karts feature roll-over bars and seat-belts for maximum protection of our drivers.

As seen on the very best karting circuits at F1 tracks around the world, the SODi RT8 kart is the best in class ! The RT8 is approved by the FIA for leisure karting around the world and are fitted with Honda GX270 cc 4-stroke engines to give you great power and drivability.

We also have remote control power-limiting and shut-off systems to keep the badly behaved away from you whilst on track!
